Josephine C. Nickles 101, passed away July 22, 2015. Jo was born in Monroe, Michigan and moved to Tucson with her family in 1944. In 1955 she became the first president of the Tucson Chapter American Gold Star Mothers. She worked at Outer Limits Day Care as the office manager and retired at age 92. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Owen Nickles Sr.; her two sons, Owen and Richard and grandson, Richard (Linda). Her parents, Elizabeth and Edgar Nickles. Josephine is survived by her grandchildren, Pamala Owens and William "Buz" Nickles (Linda). Great-grandchildren, Audri, Mike, Anissa, Buz, James, Kip, Rich, and Kelly. Great-great-grandchildren, Ashley, Amber, Anthony, Mikey, Justin, Stephanie, Jojo, Soraya, and Ari. Great-great-great-grandchildren, Adelynn. We love you Grandma. Our hearts will always be filled with the love you showed us. You will never be forgotten. There will be a Visitation and Rosary in Josephine's honor at ABBEY FUNERAL CHAPEL, 3435 N. 1st Ave., Tucson, Arizona on Monday, July 27, 2015 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. Funeral Services will be Tuesday, July 28, 2015 at St. Frances Cabrini Church, 3201 E.
