Balli, Plutarco, 84 passed away December 31, 2016 in Gilbert, Arizona. Plutarco was born December 29, 1932 in Harlingen, Texas. Plutarco leaves behind five children, Jose L. Balli, Ricky R. Balli, Edwardo R. Balli, Sylvia M. Gardner, and Selia A. Alvarez. Plutarco was blessed with nine grandchildren and 5 great, grandchildren; Brother of Alfredo Balli and America Balli-Rangel. Plutarco served honorably in the US Air Force and retired after twenty years of service. While serving in the Air Force he fought in the Korean and Vietnam wars. In July of 1955 he married the love of his life, Estulia. After retiring for the Air force Plutarco continue to serve his community by volunteering with the Pima County Sheriff Department, Tucson Police Department and the Arizona Highway Patrol for twenty years. There will be a visitation and rosary Sunday January 8, 2017 starting at 6:00pm at Abbey Funeral Chapel 3435 N. 1st Ave. Funeral mass will be held at Sacred Heart Catholic Church 601 E. Ft. Lowell Rd. , Monday , January 9, 2017 at 10:00 am. Plutarco will be laid to rest on Tuesday, January 10, 2017 at 10:00am at Southern Arizona Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Sierra Vista, Arizona.
