Obituary for Manuel D. Torres

Torres, Manuel "Pank"

It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that the family of Pank announce his passing at the age of 53. After a series of head tramas starting mid-January of this year, he peacefully fell asleep in death on that Friday night. He was born in Indio, California and graduated from Prescott High in Arizona in 1983. He moved to Tucson shortly after his 18th birthday where he lived for the rest of his days. He was a wonderful provider and worked at Young Block block plant as Production Manager for most of his life. He dedicated many years of his life to Jehovah God and will be resurrected in Paradise with all of his loved ones that have left before him. He was faithful Miami Dolphins and U of A Wildcat fan and watched football every chance he could. He absolutely loved fishing, catching everything from rainbow trout, to sailfish. He loved the outdoors and camping with his family and friends at Big Lake, Pena Blanca, and Rocky Point.

Pank will be lovingly remembered and sorely missed by his wife and her three sons, Alma, Jacob, Danny and Frankie, his two daughters, Antonette (Ashleigh) and Desiree, his parents, Toni and Manuel, his brother and sister Gary (Dora) and Margaret (Miguel), all of his nieces, nephews and cousins.

There will be a mass service held for Pank on May 17th at 1 P.M. at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton church (8650 N Sannon Rd Tucson, Az 85742). Following the service, from 2P.M. - 6P.M., there will be a "Celebration of Life" get-together for his family and friends at Margaret's country club (8881 N Coachline Blvd Tucson, Az 85743).
