It is with great sadness that the family of Jean Gaunt-Bowie announces her passing on Wednesday, December 27, 2017, at the age of 71 years, in Tucson, AZ. Jean will be lovingly remembered by her husband, Raymond, and his sons Abbott (Beth) and Norman (Melissa), as well as three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Jean was born on May 11, 1946, on the Isle of Man, UK.

She obtained her nursing degree and traveled the world as a surgical nurse. Spending most of her time in Canada and Saudi Arabia. Making lifelong friendships along the way as well as meeting her husband. They both retired in Tucson, AZ.

Jean will be remembered as an extraordinary and caring person. Everyone she met seemed to love Jean immediately. She enjoyed traveling, spending time with family and friends reminiscing about the adventures she experienced. She also was an avid reader and enjoyed watching tennis.

Private family services were held.
