Obituary for Frank H. Ford Jr.

Frank H Ford Jr., age 79, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his family. He was born on March 19, 1939 in Baltimore, Maryland to Frank Ford Sr. and Frances (Danaker) Ford.

Frank married Norma J (Brown) Ford with whom he had four children and then later was married a second time to Bonnye (Kinard) Ford.

Frank had many jobs including a short order cook, a factory worker, a roofer and after attending electrician school became a field technician with Xerox. He had a desire for knowledge and believed you could become anything you wanted, you just have to want it bad enough.

Frank was a dedicated father and enjoyed spending time encouraging and helping other families along with his own, whenever he could. He was a boy scout leader, coached, assisted coached or helped out in some way with all of his children’s athletic teams. He joined the Independent Order of Foresters and quickly became active in this family oriented organization for many years from event organizer to treasurer.

Frank never met a stranger and could strike up a conversation with anyone, anywhere.

The family moved to Arizona in the early 80’s, after which he retired from Xerox and decided to try his hand at becoming an entrepreneur by buying an existing janitorial/window cleaning business calling it “The Tiffany Touch”.

His desire to have a family business where he could work side by side with his children was a successful venture and many great memories were made during those years.
