Obituary for Wayne K. Orr
Wayne K. Orr, 85, passed away on Saturday May 4, 2019. Wayne was born on January 31, 1934, in Johnson Co., IN. He lived in Indianapolis, IN and retired from Allison Gas Turbine Division of General Motors. He is survived by his wife, Rachel Orr, daughter, Robin Edwards, sister, Linda May, and numerous nephews & nieces.
Wayne & Rachel moved to Tucson, AZ to escape Indiana cold winters. They both enjoyed traveling and were blessed to visit all 50 states. Wayne was known for his humor and joke telling. His passion for pool was something he enjoyed sharing with others. He was known as the Vistoso Village “pool shark”.
Memorial service will be held on July 6, 2019 at 10:00 am, at Warren Baptist Church, 9501 E. 21st Street, Indianapolis, IN 46229.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Oro Valley Church of the Nazarene Building Fund.
