Obituary for Joan E. Kramer (Adams)

Tucson, AZ-- Joan Elizabeth (Adams) Kramer, 76, died September 7, 2019 at Copper Health Oro Valley Rehabilitation Center. Born January 2, 1943 to Oliver Adams and Elizabeth Mako, Joan grew up in Racine, WI, where she graduated from Horlick High School in 1961. Following high school she worked at Kelly Temporary Services and later as a secretary for Twin Disc Corp, Racine, WI.

Joan was united in marriage to Nicholas Kramer on September 21, 1976 with whom she retired in Tucson, AZ in 1996. Joan enjoyed traveling, music, dancing, reading, cooking, caring for the wild birds, playing MahJongg with her good friends; but most of all, cherishing time with her loving, devoted husband.

Joan is survived by her sister, Judy Hembrook; brother-in-laws and sister-in-laws: Robert Kramer; Steve (Shan) Kramer; Susan (Terry) Larson; Ron (Lori) Kramer; Janice (Jess) Schlater; Carolyn (Tom) Uhen; Mary Kaye (Chris) Johnson; step-children Nick Jr. (Holly) FL; Kelly (Eric) Rennagel, GA; Kurt, WI; great step-grandchildren Kendall and Hannah Kramer; Chloe, Gabriel and Brock Rennagel. Many nieces and nephews.

Joan was preceded in death by her husband, her parents and father and mother-in-law, Harold and Shirley Kramer.
