To the family, my heartfelt condolences for your loss. Please find comfort in the knowledge that soon God will wipe out every tear from our eyes, and “death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things (will) have passed away.”(Rev. 21:3,4) May this promise give you comfort now and a real hope for the future. My deepest sympathies.

Diane was my mother and was such a loving, thoughtful, giving and a very strong person. Always thought of others with cards, emails and had an enormous scrapbooking of my family, a sight to see. When I was very young, I'd ask dad, where mom? She was so fun when watching our beloved Broncos, especially the magical Tim Tebow year, will never forget her enthusiasm!
She was like my grandmother, fun to tease, and was the best Jeopardy contestant...always beat Dad and I to the answers!🤣Memories, from the musical Cats, and Doctor Zhivago always reminds me of her. She was and amazing reader of many books, so intelligent...Mom brought out the best in people and had so many friends over the years! Mom picked up the slack with the grandkids, so happy they got to spend time with her. I am very grateful to God for letting me have a wonderful mother,...will see you again my angel mother!

Diane is my ex mother in law. I remember that when I met Rafe she was so welcoming into the family. She was so excited when she found out about us having both our children, Trevor and Erica. She went to doctor's appointments with me and was always there to help me out with the kids when they were small. I felt extra blessed because when we moved to Columbia, Missouri her and Bob decided to leave Colorado and join us. She was so much help to me, and my kids were so fortunate to have their loving grandparents so close and so much a part of their lives. We'll miss you dearly Diane.

Diane was one of my very best friends. Although she was 19 years older than me, she always felt like a sister to me. We became friends when she worked at Gates. I had so much fun working with her at Gates, especially all the fun times working together in the same department, Belt Product Control. We always both shared many stories about our beloved pets. I remember Pheppher and Tokie, and all the pets she had after them. One of my most endearing memories is that Diane would often send cards to me and sign them as if they were coming from the dogs. She would send me Mother's Day cards and sign them as coming from my dachshunds...it was so very special to me. For many years Diane would lovingly "babysit" my dachshunds & stay at our house when we went on vacation. She doted and spoiled my dachshunds as if they were her own dogs. Even after moving to Missouri, Diane & Bob would drive to Colorado to house sit/pet sit for us when we went on vacation. Diane was one of the most selfless, generous, loving, caring, and compassionate people I know.....she was also so fun and witty....always making everyone laugh. Diane always sent birthday and Christmas cards, but she would often send me a special card or a special gift package for no reason other than to say hi and spread love & joy. I have so many wonderful memories of Diane that I will always treasure. She gave so much of herself to others. She was such a kind, beautiful soul and I feel so blessed to have called her my friend.

I had the pleasure of meeting Diane while attending law school with her daughter, Sheryl. I always got excited when Sheryl would announce that her parents would be visiting the Bay Area because I loved spending time with them. I enjoyed Diane´s witty comebacks and admired her kind spirit. I will always remember her fondly and with tremendous gratitude for having gotten to know someone as loving and wonderful as her. ----Carol Galan
