Obituary for Alfia Morales Hutchison (Morales)
Alfia Morales Hutchison, was born in 1926 in Tucson, AZ, and died December 20, 2019. She was married for 69 years to Kenneth E. Hutchison, who died in February of 2019. Alfia, the daughter of Francisco Morales and Beatriz Zepeda de Morales, was a direct descendant of José Ignacio Moraga, commander of the Spanish Presidio of Tucson in 1791. Alfia had been the secretary for Police Chief Hughes, and retired from the Pima County Adult Probation Department.
Alfia is survived by her three children, Marsha, Mark, and Richard (Ranae); two grandsons, Troy and Trent; three siblings, Elda, Herman and Oscar; and a loving extended family.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 am, Monday, December 30, 2019, preceded by a Rosary Service at 10:00 am at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, 1946 E. Lee Street, Tucson, AZ, 85719. Committal Prayers and Interment will follow at Holy Hope Catholic Cemetery, Tucson.
