Chuck is survived by his loving wife of almost 60 years, Kathryn "Kathy" (Wolk) Bruhn of Green Valley, AZ, and Shawano, WI; two daughters, Sue Bruhn (Mike Kane) of Bedford, MA, and their children Noah (San Francisco, Ca) and Tyler (Tulsa, Ok): and daughter Tammy Merrill (Robert Merrill) of Puyallup, WA, and their daughter Kari (Los Angeles, Ca). Chuck and Kathy were charter members of St. Andrew’s Lutheran Church, Racine, WI, and he held executive positions there, and at Zion Lutheran Church, Shawano, WI. He and his wife Kathy were also active members at Desert Hills Lutheran Church in Green Valley, Arizona. He was a member of Kiwanis and participated in, and ran many of their events. Chuck was a member of the Loon Lake Association, and was a huge fan of the Green Bay Packers and the Wisconsin Badgers.

He was a proponent of the “bonus donut” as many times as he could get away with it and enjoyed boating around Loon Lake and spending time with family and friends. Chuck also enjoyed dancing and telling jokes.
Chuck was a lover of music who played bassoon, as well as other instruments and sang in the church choir. His favorite song was Fanfare of the Common Man by Aaron Copland.

There will be a Celebration of Chuck's Life later this summer in Wisconsin.
