Obituary

Linda Ann Meder of Oro Valley, passed away peacefully on July 29, 2020 after an extended illness. She is now with our Lord and is free from the pain she has lived with for the last 2 1/2 years. She was 58 years old.

Linda was born in Sacramento, CA to Richard Meder and Carol (Batman) Rudeen on March 30, 1962. Linda was a sweet and loving person. She touched many lives, and was loved by all. She will be missed by everyone. She also loved rock and roll music, cooking, and being with all of her animals, including her beloved dogs Paisley and Trixie. Linda also volunteered as a docent for several years at the Reid Park Zoo in Tucson. She loved the zoo. Linda was baptized in February 2019, at Abiding Savior Lutheran Church by Pastor Cindy, and later became a member.

Linda (or Medie) as I called her was such a sweet soul. I miss her daily texts saying "Good Morning Auntie, how are you today"
For the past 40 years we have had so much fun together and shared so many good times. You were the daughter I never had and me and your uncle will miss you sooooo very much. Rest in peace my love.
Love,

I was lucky to share a lifetime of wonderful memories with Linda. Our first "no parents" camping trip, Billy Joel concerts, our first apartment, weddings, divorces, cooking Thanksgiving dinner together over the phone, the walkway that nearly broke us, but didn't. I'm glad she's finally out of pain, but there will never be quite as much joy in my life. My heartfelt condolences to all her family and friends.
