Nice times

I enjoyed a lot of nice visits with Grandpa, most often in Illinois and sometimes in Wisconsin and Arizona. I was glad when he moved into me and my parents' old house after we moved into a different house. When he and my Grandma moved into their home in Bourbonnais, we would visit them often. He was always glad to see you and always interested in you. When the family would get together for meals in Illinois (usually at New Lenox Restaurant), he would insist on picking up the check. I enjoyed Grandpa's 75th birthday celebration, as well as Grandma's 75th birthday the next year because it was nice to have so many family members together at the same place. Lots of good memories.
